Grand Avenue between Lafayette and Lexington will be THE place to be on Saturday. Local businesses Choice Market, Grand 275, Still Hip, Le Grand Dakar and Nu Yu Day Spa are sponsoring the festivities. Special events include:
Le Grand Dakar will be offering a veritable feast of Senegalese/Caribbean/French food; Africa/African Diasporan music, and dance, the Party will also include a fashion show, a sprawling blank canvass for painter aspirants, young and old, and a children’s area, where face painting and storytellers will hold forth. Where’s the 1? Productions collaborates on music talent coordination.
